Balboa High School Teacher

Jazmine (they/she) is a third year Child & Adolescent Development major and double minor in Special Education & Queer Trans Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University. The eldest of three children, they were born and raised in Milpitas, California as a second-generation Filipino-American, with both Pangasinan and Tagalog roots respectively. In their free time, they enjoy karaoke, baking, and creating art. In the future, they hope to attend law school to become a juvenile defense attorney, seeking to provide protection, care, and justice for queer and/or BIPOC communities.

Coming back to PEP for their second year, they are looking forward to passing down stories, engaging in restorative justice practices, and overall pouring out all their love towards their respective communities! <3
