Troy is a 5th generation Japanese American who grew up in Union City and lived in both Oakland and San Francisco. Troy went to San Francisco State University and received his B.A. in History and Minor in Asian American Studies, as well as an M.A. in Asian American Studies. A lover of carbonated and caffeinated drinks, good food, coffee and excessively long walks. He loves to watch sports, especially the Warriors, the Arsenal, and the Niners, and play basketball as well.
