Youngmin is a second generation Korean born and raised in Torrance, CA but with ancestry from the Hamgyong Province(함경도). He is currently in the College of Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University, majoring in Asian American Studies and double minoring in Critical Pacific Islands/Oceania Studies and Africana Studies. Outside of the classroom, you can frequently catch him complaining about customers at his food service job or babbling about municipal housing policy and Korean politics.
