Caleb strives to educate students about historic moments/facts/topics in Filipino American studies so as for students to become familiar with the history of their ethnic group and lead them to strongly embrace their identity as Filipino Americans. Coming from predominantly white suburban San Diego, he was changed through Ethnic Studies as it allowed him to learn about himself, be part of a community with many fellow Asian Americans and help him become proud of my background as an Asian/Filipino American, which is another impact he strive to make upon the students I teach. When not in the PEP space, Caleb enjoys Thai food, Burgers, Boba and has strong interests in his hobbies of Boxing, Muay Thai and riding my Electric Scooter around SF.
