Hey there! I'm Evangelica Ong (she/her), but my nickname is Angeli. I'm a 1.5 gen Pinay born in Philippines but raised on Ramaytush, Ohlone Land to what is now called San Mateo, Bay Area. I'm currently a 4th year transfer student from College of San Mateo who attends Cal State East Bay student pursuing her BA in Psychology with an Asian American Minor. Some of my memorable achievements include being the chosen as the Student highlight for SalesForce Education Cloud which was shown at the DreamForce Conference, founding Katipunan at CSM and now a flourishing learning community, and being a CORE officer of PASA at CSUEB. I enjoy doing outdoor activities, connecting with my friends and nature, as well as napping or playing video games. I'm grateful for the privilege to serve the community in the PEP space and in the Bay and I aim to always continue the "heart-work" that was laid out by my former educators, mentors, and ancestors (D. Garcia, 2019).
